J780 heads west towards Mitchell as it rolls by the Shieldstown covered bridge.

J780 blasts by the end of Butlerville siding after picking up cars for the trip west. This is some of the best fall color in the area.

J780 approaches the 109.6 intermediate near Sparksville, IN. Signal replacements are imminent on the east end of the Indiana Sub, and J780 is the only train to use the west end.

A recently repainted CSX Geep sports the new "boxcar logo" while it basks in the afternoon sun. The 2806 began it's career in June of 1979, built as Conrail engine 8265.
